Mijas Pueblo is one of Andalusia's typical white towns, famous for its donkey taxis.
The donkey taxi business began in Mijas Pueblo in the 1960s, when vacationers in the area saw workers returning home from work with the donkeys.
Tourists wanted to take photos with donkeys and could even ride them for money. Since tips were often higher than workers' wages, locals gained a new way of making a living
To date, the city council has built a parking lot for 60 donkey taxis.
P.S. There are also great hiking trails for the you who are fit and less fit.
